This video explains how an EU Horizons 2020 project approaches the autonomous vehicle challenge with its particular focus and inspiration being on the human brain. The technology not only attempts to mimic the brain when driving, but also mimic the brains dreaming patterns as the system simulates or imagines what scenarios it may meet on the road, to which it can then therefore prepare for.

In an era when autonomous vehicles are being developed as fast as we can develop them, Dreams4cars has a unique solution to finding a driving agent capable of reacting appropriately on the road. The solution is that it can learn and self-improve, by imagining or dreaming about all the scenarios it could face, based on human learning mechanisms. This video compares traditional autonomous agents with the Drams4cars agent to demonstrate the importance of self-learning agents.
